Jim Christie and Peter James

The managing director roles are shared by Jim Christie and Peter James. Peter and Jim established Advance Investment Finance in 1985 and renamed the company Resi Home Loans in 1993.

In December 2000 resi Mortgage Corporation was formed to facilitate Peter and Jims’ decision to move and expand Resi's business into today's franchise network.

Angelo Malizis

Angelo is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with strong leadership skills and over 30 years in the financial service industry. He has a proven reputation in the mortgage sector for delivering positive organisational change and shareholder value through the implementation of effective business strategies.

Lisa Montgomery

Resi’s, Lisa Montgomery, has almost thirty years experience in the financial services industry and has an established reputation as a respected media commentator.

Lisa is dedicated to ensuring resi clients become smarter borrowers.

Agas Agamemnonos

Agas is resi’s Chief Financial Officer, whilst also being a member of both CPA and IPA. Agas has 23 years experience in the banking & Finance industry, including the Commonwealth Bank and CUSCAL. He is responsible for all statutory and management reporting, SUN systems administrator, payroll, settlements, upfront/trail commission, accounts payable and accounts receivable for the resi Group.

Craig Bartlett

Craig has around 30 years experience in the lending industry, specialising in maximising sales and implementing systems to deliver an exceptional client experience. He is responsible for the sales performance across the group and for providing support to our dedicated network of resi mortgage professionals.

Paul Kriss

Paul has over 15 years experience in financial services sector, leading teams in both operational and marketing management roles. He is responsible for managing resi group’s marketing initiatives and leading the marketing team in all national, brand and call to action marketing campaign activities.

Paul Liccione

Paul has 18 years experience in the property and finance industry with over 13 years experience establishing and operating businesses, which included the recruitment and training of finance and other sales professionals. Paul is responsible for managing the support of resi’s franchise network of lending professionals, as well as the recruitment and training of new resi franchisees.

Matthew Cragg

Matthew has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, working in the banking and mutual sector. He has also worked for a Sydney based Law firm providing mortgage services and advice, and also with a registered training organisation providing education in business and financial services nationally recognised qualifications. Matthew leads the Sales Support team at resi, providing loan assessment and loan scenario advice.

Kon Shizas

Having been involved in the financial services industry for almost 15 years, Kon has vast experience in non-bank lending, product design and client management. His management practices and interaction with clients demonstrate daily the value he places in others. Kon’s passion for customer service helps to promote the values and ethics of resi to Australian home owners.

Ian Rains

Ian has been in the finance industry for around 40 years including over 17 years with the resi group. In that time has covered every facet of resi’s operations and, as such, has acquired an extensive knowledge of the business. His current responsibilities include ensuring resi’s compliance with the requirements of its Australian Credit Licence.  

Steve Achilleos

Steve is resi’s National IT Manager. He has over 25 years IT experience and over 10 years in the lending industry. Currently, Steve is responsible for all IT across the group and for providing support to our dedicated network of resi mortgage professionals.
